“Living with someone is a special kind of intimacy. Each year that I live with new people, I pick up many of their turns of phrase and habits. College is an environment where the cross pollination of ideas takes all forms, and the people that I care about have not only shaped the way I think, but the way I speak, and what sorts of things I currently and no longer value. The people I’ve met here have shaped me in intangible ways, and through this book, I tried to visually represent that.”
This book is 9.5”x6.5”, designed in Adobe InDesign, inkjet printed, and hand bound.

“Throughout this process, friends of mine were kind enough to invite me into their living spaces, and let me take photographs of them with these objects, and tell me about them. Each had a story, and what those stories are helped me learn even more about my friends. Eventually, however, I decided to combine the photographs of these objects with my own narratives: ideas of how I thought these objects could be special.”
