I designed the logo for the site by combining two mathematical symbols related to Chris’s research and general academic philosophy. The Hebrew letter Alef (ℵ) a common symbol in Set Theory, and a turnstile (⊨) which denotes truth.

Site Features

  • Accommodation of Sage cells, which allow for interactive visualizations of the mathematical concepts discussed

  • Accommodation of user comments and footnotes

  • Special styling for mathematical definitions and informational callouts

  • All site styling editable using Sass variables

  • Custom open graph images designated using Liquid variables at the beginning of each blog post

  • Mobile responsive
